The picture is camera set on object I flipped the coin straight its slanted tiny bit. Pretty nice condition can see feathers and textures still.

Nice one, Jen! Yes, a slightly misaligned obverse die and a bit of rotation. Neither is extreme enough to command a numismatic premium, but definitely a keeper.

@jen, I think that what you are saying is that there is a small rotation error between the two sides of this quarter. A really nifty way to show this is by taking a picture of the coin in front, but slightly off to the side, of a mirror. That way you can see both sides at the same time. For reference, when we talk about a mis-aligned die, we are not referring to rotation, but rather translation, so one rim will be thicker and the other rim will be thinner to the point that the letters can start to fall off the edge.

Yes, a mirror photo would tie this up nicely.

Yes an image of this coin using a mirror to get both sides in one picture would be good.

Slight off center strike though.

Thanks still really new, I'm kinda recognizing the errors better but not exact on names. I really dont know why I never thought of a mirror. Truly thank you guys, I love this forum. I was so sensitive to the responses before but after a few bad ones and recognizing with your guys help I'm getting halfway decent. Mirror pic coming up can I see an example?

to the CCF!

I used a capture of your image to check the rotation of the reverse. Using a Photoshop measuring tool, the reverse image of the coin shows approximately a 10° - 12° rotation. It is rotated, just not enough to command a premium.

Here's information from NGC on Die Rotation Errors.

Quote:
Rotated dies: All US Mint coins are struck with coin alignment. .... Rotated die errors tend to occur when a die is installed improperly or is loose and rotates on its own. It is much more common on early US Mint coinage. NGC will recognize rotated die mint errors only if there is at least 15 degrees of rotation.
