Hey Guys! so..I got some great goodies today at the bank. Can anyone tell me how much they might be worth? ...Although I just love them for their historic look. New currency just doesn't have the same visual appeal. So I got today at the bank:
1957 (one dollar) 94054549A Star Note 1963 (five dollar) 02988241 - 029882414 4 Star Notes 1934D (five dollar) U40024688A silver certificate 1935F (one dollar) Q08598860I silver certificate 1935G (one dollar) B74002701J silver certificate 1935G (one dollar) B74002703J silver certificate 1935G (one dollar) B74002702J silver certificate 1935 (five dollar) A55247342A - A55247345A silver certificates
I also have a few more in consecutive order and around 80 some silver certificates I got today. It was CRAZY the teller knows I collect and saved me an envelope fulll from a man who dropped them off! :) AMAZING teller!! :) I gotta bring them a thank u!

depending on condition(F-EF): 57 star $3-5 63 star $10-25 $1 silvers $3-5 34D $5 silver $10-20 no 35 silvers 34? A? 15-30each if consecutive use higher values if uncirculated you could safely double these values... remember these are retail prices and they are probably worth %30 less..good luck!
It's take the teller to lunch day!

Hi! :) Thank you for the info! I am very new to currency collecting. I primarily collect coins since I run across those more often. I know I have to take them to lunch for sure..it was so NICE of them! :) No I didn't see any 35 silvers or 34/A. I am getting a book to put them in though to keep them nice. I so wish our currency looked like that again. It is soo odd looking now (like funny money!) Are you guys coming across anything interesting lately..with people maybe taking in their old money to the bank? Thanks Guys! : o

Oh and all of the star notes are crispy uncirc I would say. They have no folds and look like new money! I wonder why on earth someone would take them to the bank! They were in an old envelope that said savings bond on the front. On that back it was actually written "US. Silver Certificates." The man was supposedly older...very strange. I will take good care of them though!

spetti2000...congrats...I was referring to the fact that there are no 1935 $5 silver certificates...maybe they are 1934? if crisp uncirculated notes could be worth $100's each!

OH you are correct! The $5.00 silver certificates are 1934D. I ordered a book today to organize them. :)
