1962 P Lincoln Cent Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO

I found a 1962 P Lincoln Cent, nice red brown coin with nice fields on the obverse that I think is a DDO! I looked at Wexler WDDO-005 & 006 and Variety Vista DDO-010 & 011. These DDO'S look close but my record is not good so I am hoping someone looks at my coin and the ones' I found close and let me know your opinion. Coop has helped me a couple of times, but I have not seen him recently and I hope he is ok. Anyway look at the photos and let me know and as always regards! Report this Post to the Staff

SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 08/01/2023 11:34 pm When using any variety reference site, it's important to be aware of whether a variety listing is for proof/SMS/business strikes. It's impossible for a proof doubled die variety to appear on a business strike. I see no evidence of a DDO, just some minor Die Deterioration Doubling. I should pay more attention to the listing on these sites. I am so use to Copper Coins red P for proof that I missed "comments" on Variety Vista and "Pr" on Wexler's listings. Live and learn.
