Picked this up recently, and I think it's quite high grade example, what do you think? These are quite hard to grade because I think there wasn't much detail in the dies for the hair etc but this one has quite a bold strike and doesn't seem to be any real wear to the reverse. What do you make of it?
Nice little 'die crack' on the obverse too. Were these made with dies? I don't think they were hammered this late into the 17th century?
