Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6495 Posts	Posted 08/06/2023 8:28 pm It has a full rim on the drum, which is a major positive. Obviously late die state, with the radial flow lines. Is the frosting of wear on the hair, cheek, drummer hat, left sleeve due to the die, or was the coin circulated for 10 seconds? Too hard for me to tell. Either AU-58 or MS-63. A very nice coin, regardless. The ding might hold it back, but it also seems like a full drum can push the grade up a bit, depending on what articles you read. They ran those dies hard in 1975 and 1976, and there are lots of faintly struck drums out there. Report this Post to the Staff
