Yes, given the images posted, I wouldn't recommend submission to a TPG for grading.

I think that it is better to buy such simple coins already graded. So you will spend much less money.

This coin would grade at most AU, nowhere near nice enough of condition to be sent in for grading. Even if you had an original bank wrapped roll of uncirculated 1969 S cents, chances are 9/10 that none of them will be nice enough to send in for grading.

I agree, definitely nowhere near worth getting it graded. It's circulated. Not worth the money or time.

Scoobynscrappy just a comment on grading. very few coins require professional grading. mainly rarer coins and coins that you are considering selling that have a value of no less than $150 and thats bordferline due to grading costs. a PCGS minimum subscription is $69 just to be able to send a coin in, $22 grading fee then postage and handling both ways. hope that helps when considering this option
