Went to the "World's Fair of Money" in Pittsburgh yesterday. I picked this up for my first 2¢ piece in my collection... I did buy a second piece which I will post later. It looked great in the 2x2, it was marked AU58+, when I removed it to take a picture.... well, let's just say I bought the grade, not the coin. I'm thinking this is a AU55 what are your thoughts?

Thanks
Dan

And by the way, it has a rotated die about 15-20% if that makes a difference?

It's quite lovely. I'd say something like AU 50/53. I think modestly rotated dies are unexceptional in high-mintage issues like this.

Definitely has seen some circulation wear. I'll go AU50/53 range. Nice looking example.

i have it at AU55. if you paid solid AU58 $$ for it there isn't a whole lot of difference from 55 and its a nice 55 imo

I'd be in at AU50, unless there's luster that's not showing up at the photos. Still a very nice coin and looks mostly problem-free!
