When I got interested in the hobby again after many years, I had a VF 1907 Indian cent in the folder from 55 years ago. Thought, I need a good one of those to upgrade. Not slabbed, just a good coin for the folder. So I looked at a lot and went through several - sent several back. Kept a few and ended up selling them - just not what I wanted. Then I saw the auction for this coin about ten days ago - bad pictures, but good enough. No bidding to speak of - bought it for $11.50 including shipping. Opinions? I'm thinking low AU maybe - reverse shield shows what looks like wear to me. I really like the coin - common date or not.
