I say it's an 1869 (edit: you fixed it!), and beautiful, and if this is in anything less than a 65 or 66 holder, I'm going to cry a little, because it's stunning. I've owned some nicer 3CN's in the past, but nothing on this level, or really even that close.

Cheek scuffs might hold this to 64, but hoping for 65!

I'm in the 65+ / 66 camp, but - that mark above and to the right of the ribbon on the reverse might keep it at 65. Regardless, what a stunner!

Very nice example, nice luster, well struck. Maybe some very light slide or friction rub to the cheek. MS65

i say this is one of the better struck 3 cent pieces. I always look for those defined lines on the columns and they are there on this one. I wouldnt even consider one not. solid MS65 if they didnt give it a 66 its bean worthy

Love the coin and that gorgeous yellowy luster -- but I thought the grade was fair.

I think there's enough light chatter -- on the reverse especially --- to keep it at MS64. I paid $300 for it in March last year. I'm in no hurry to sell it.
