Hey hey collectors ! Heres a coin I dug up a few weeks ago. I've just done some research and surprisingly it sure fits this thread. Spanish 1724 2 reales... I know you expect Philip V but its Luis l. In 1724 Luis came to the throne and died in about seven months. His father Philip V then retook the throne later again in 1724. Luis had one of the shortest reines in history. He is one of those forgotten kings that didnt really have more than a footnote in the history books.

Was wondering why these are 1 year types for the Cambodian coins, found the answer.
The monarchy was restored in 1993, Sihanouk became king again.
Thanks IGE, always learning.

Here are pics of a one-year-only issue of a £1 coin. It's 1988 and the reverse designer is Derek Gorringe. The interesting thing is the bottom of the letter P in Pound. Slight difference in the serif at the bottom. This is a known variety! Lucky me!

Issued after a 30-year hiatus, the 1888 groat was the last British fourpenny piece minted for circulation and the only one with the Jubilee Head of Queen Victoria: These coins were intended for circulation in British Guiana, where the denomination was popular, and the colony later issued its own 4d coins after the groat had fallen completely out of use in the UK. I've heard of 1888 groats being found by metal detectorists in the UK, so they definitely circulated over here.
