I see it was supposed to debut at the ANA in Pittsburgh which is now over, and it's available for orders. They announced this new edition like three years ago and I gave up on it. I'm specifically interested in what's new in the Barber sections. I apologize if there's another thread on here somewhere on this topic. Report this Post to the Staff

Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4395 Posts	Posted 08/13/2023 3:14 pm I got it as well. They added 7 new Barber dime varieties but also removed 27. For the Barber quarters: added 1 and removed 3. All the ones that were removed will retain their listing # and will stay in the cross-reference table in the back. So they were not delisted, they are just no longer pictured in the book. Report this Post to the Staff

I'll wait and see if there's a Kindle version. On a related note, the 3rd edition of Barber Silver Coins (Bowers Red Book) is also available and I ordered mine yesterday. Quote: The second significant change in this volume: Certain varieties have proven over time to be of low collector interest, and we have slated these for future removal from the coin-by-coin listings in order to make room for other, more important, varieties. and under specific listings Quote: (Note: Because of its low Interest Factor, this variety will be removed from this chapter in the next edition of this volume, to make room for more popularly collected pieces. I don't get it either. Seems it would be better to split it up into more volumes. I'm a bit disappointed that they seem to have gutted the Barber dime section instead of adding what I consider to be cooler stuff. There were 37 listings in the previous edition and according to @Tanman2001 they've dropped 27 of them. Report this Post to the Staff
