Good afternoon everyone, to day I am looking at some markings on this coin on the obverse and reverse. On the obverse there are two marks I see. One is under Lincoln's chin near his throat and one on the back of his neck in between hair line and collar. Then on the reverse I see markings in the 2nd and 3rd columns possibly bottom of Lincoln's chin outline? Any help is appreciated.
Here's a Die Clash Overlay for the Lincoln Memorial cent. This shows where clash marks are expected and helps us understand what part of the design from the opposite side caused the marks.
