Hi All,

Found this coin listed as BC. Looks like a bad case of "roll Acne" to me

Appears to be some light wear on hair above date and ear. Unless this is an O mintmark, I would say AU. Still shows some nice luster.

Looks AU55. Definite wear on high points.

Morgans are impossible to judge without seeing both faces, but I'd tend to agree that this one's almost certainly slightly circulated.

daviscfad - "O" mintmark Morgans are known for being a weak strike. So it may appear that there is wear on the hair above the ear and on the eagles breast and neck feathers, when in fact it may be a weak strike. At least that's how I understand it.

I have to agree on the AU as well. I have a slabbed O mm morgan that is weakly struck, as well as a CC GSA and the hair above the ear and the back part of the ear are where it is obvious. You can still see the remnants of detail in the hair above the ear on this coin, and the ear itself looks fairly normal, where on a weak strike they are flat, so I am 99% sure it is wear.
