I just spent a great deal of time introducing my Shield knowledge, reading, looking and learning about them.

The 1868 RPD reverse of '68, with broken letters, really looked cool. I think I'll add one or two to my collection, after reading up a little more and searching for some nice examples.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

You could have a full collection if you just collected 1868 nickels. Quite a year for varieties.
