To CCF! The common date wheat cents are worth in average circulated condition between 3 to 5 cents each.

@penn, first welcome to CCF. Second, for sure the common date ones aren't worth much over face value, but there are several date/mintmark keys and semi-keys which could be worth considerably more. For example, for 1909, do you have any cents with a "S" mintmark? If so, please post pictures of this coin in a separate thread.

I agree with what the others have already said, and will just add that 1943 steel cents in average condition are very common and also aren't worth much. Very interesting to own, however!

if your set is complete with all mint marks in that date range, the value is at least in the hundreds of dollars

The key dates you want to look for are 1909-S, 1909-S VDB (VDB is on the back or reverse of the coin), 1914-D or 1931-S. Those are the most valuable. There's others as well that might be worth a few bucks, mainly early teens and early 20's with S and D mint marks. Date and mint mark is key; many of the rest are only worth a few cents each unless they are in like new condition.

Welcome!

Check the 1946-S for the Inverted Mint Mark.
