Hello, new to coin searching and I am really enjoying it. I've been reading a lot about coin errors and just would like to know if I may have anything here. Thanks and let me know.
First 2 images: Same coin, the stamped obvious ring? Damage or Error?
3rd Image: 1944 D Possible Double Die and or D/S?
4th image: 1916 D The coin chips or just damage?
5th image: 1941 D Lamination error on cheeks?

First off welcome. Next, please only post one coin at a time, full coin images of front an back and the close ups of the affected area in question.
Also please give an explanation of what you are seeing on the coin, so they know what area to look at on the coin.
If you do this you will get answers quicker.
I'm not one of the experts, on error or variety coins, but they will be on here to evaluate your coins.

these are all damaged coins from circulation.
Please try to only post one coin per topic as to avoid confusion.

to the CCF and One thing that will serve you well is, when you have a divot, scratch, or gouge on a coin with a corresponding buildup of metal, like your 45 and 16, 99% of the time it's damage.

Unable to fully evaluate since your photos are overmagnified beyond the 800x800 pixels the board recommends. Please use a size of 800x800 or so because that tends to make a sharper image, and works with more equipment which allows more members to participate.
