So I was looking through my quarters (out of cents) and found this 1967 P Washington quarter which had what I thought was a Die Crack on the obverse! Now I know how rare Die Cracks are on Quarters, because in my 4 years' of coin searching I have only found one going from the hair ribbon to the rim on a Washington quarter. I know how tough the planchet is because of this experience so before I start crying wolf I took a closer look. It is coming from the rim across the 1 in the date to between the S & T in Trust to the W in We. However it looks like a furrow (small) and it continues from the left side of the W to Washington's chin up past his lips to the nose and terminated there. It is the only surface mark on this coin. So I am concerned that it is post-strike but not convinced because the furrow did not continue past the nose which would happen if it were caused by an externa device. The reverse and obverse shows wear like most circulated coins and nothing on the reverse showed anything other than a soft strike or worn die. So look at the pics and let me know what you think, and regards

Greeting`s, after looking and tweaking the photos I am convinced this is a scratch or scratches, you can see in the first pic the line going up Wash`s nose an dissipating/reducing in depth.
The arrows show the deep areas the best including up and over his nose. and there is another branch of a scratch to the west I indicated.

You can see the depth of the scratch south east of the "1", and on the 1 as indicated, and then as it gets to the deepest part befor entering between the "S" T".
