It seems to be a very nice proof nickel, although pics outside of the 2X2 would be better. As for value, check sold listings on ebay to determine if it is worth sending to a TPG. Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Yes, appears to be a proof. Given the posted pics, it would likely fall in the PR67-68 range.

Nice coin but a common date proof. Value is way less than the TPG costs. Keep in in your album and enjoy it that way. |

It is a nice looking proof but would probably need to be a Deep cameo to consider slabbing.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
