Recently segregated all my Canadian coins from US. These are all the pennies I have taken out of circulation in NE Ohio in last 40 yrs..the pennies cover every year since 1959 with few earlier. What dates would be your go to list to check for errors?

1940 stuck out ..appears gold plated..what do you think?
Thanks for all replies

The "gold" one is worth a penny. It was plated, doubtful it was gold, in a science lab by some student. Keep it as an oddity, no real value.

Numista.com
Or coinsandcanada.com

Both will give you an idea of what might be valuable compared to other years.

Once you have a few segregated post them here and you'll get lots of credible free advice.
