Can you please tell us what you're seeing? If you mean the waviness around Kennedy's head, that's just a combination of progressive indirect design transfer and ordinary Die Deterioration. No premium for either.

Deteriorated die issue. I have seen this usually on modern quarters.

This it is characteristic for Kennedy halves to have this kind. In fact it is a Hub Doubling. Happened till 90's.

Can you please clarify? Are you saying it is a doubled die or master die doubling or something else? John1

I feel it's not as flat and shelf like, like this 1967 example of Mechanical Doubling. Top top hairline appears to be almost 3D. Not sure if it was struck over another Kennedy or if it's doubling. My microscope broke so I'm unable to get better pictures of it. I need to get it on my good scale. Let someone borrow it. On my crappy scale it came in at 11.5, which this scale will give you the same weight 3 out of 5 times. I've only really been into error coins for about a year. Trying to remember everything as well as trying not to have change build up all over the house, car, garage, etc has been a challenge &

And.thank you jBuck! I tried putting that in my last post but after going back and forth trying to get the picture to load, it slipped my mind.
Hoping this will be a great resource. Come to find out, any coin shop around me doesn't care about errors unless it's one of the top 5-10. Outside of that, they'll take it and hold it up for half a second and give their "expert advice". Which usually consist of, "I them them for $0.60 haha.
I have a handful of others that I can't figure out, but I don't want to be a person that post every 1955 asking/saying it's doubled ;)

Your half dollar is MDD (Machine Damage Doubling) or AKA Strike Doubling. Attached is a photo of Doubling on the profile of a 66 SMS DDO-013. MDD on Kennedy half dollars is common, DDO's are not.

Atrox- my clone is further up. The black and white one is an example of what mine is not like. If you know that, and a still are saying mine is the same, my apologies.
