This dime has what appears to be raised areas on the obverse and reverse. I've never seen one like this and don't what you would call the error. Any thoughts?

Obvious heat damage caused it to blister but it looks as though it may also be a Dryer Coin since the reeding is missing and edge appears spooned thick.

@kri, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that high heat (after leaving the mint) is most likely the reason for those bulges.

to the CCF and heat. Can we get a picture of the edge? It looks like half of the reeds are missing like it might have been a partial collar strike.
