Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 08/27/2023 10:44 pm This image shows the letters GOD WE are embossed in reverse just above the word TRUST. This coin has a slight bend of 4° to 5°, so the highest point on the obverse is at the center. While we can never know how or when the coin was pressed against another cent, I would have loved to be there when it was struck, to see if it caused some kind of log jam of coins as it was ejected. If these are incuse, mirror-image letters, then we're looking at a contact mark from another cent. Post-strike damage, in other words. This could have occurred inside the Mint or outside the Mint.
