Im going to be sending a 1922 LMC plain Variety 2 in to be authenticated and graded.

Anyone have any reccomendations as where to send it. I want the best grading company.

I would suggest PCGS or NGC. They are the "top 2" grading services and this is a pretty significant coin.

Only one I will ad is ANACS. I have never sent anything to them but I have a few coins from them

Depends on the reason you are sending it in. Besides authentication that is. If you're looking for resale value, PCGS still owns this category, and probably will for a long time. If it's for your own collection only, it's up to you between PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG in my opinion.

For what it's worth, sending to someone other than PCGS can have it's bonuses as well. Sometimes you see auction fever with folks thinking they may be able to cross over to the same grade or higher.

PCGS. If you go to a lot of coin shows there is something you hear a lot of and that is things like "of course it cost more, it's in a PCGS slab". And many, many people will buy one in a PCGS slab long before most others.
