found this 1955 Wheat penny roll hunting, what is going on in the hair area? Also the "IN'' in in god we trust is awfully thick...is that normal for this year? I put as many picdpictures up as possible thank you ahead of time

Nice die crack, yes. The date suggests this coin is a 'poor man's doubled die'. The '55 poor man's often sports a cracked skull. All from a very tired die.

Die Deterioration, Die Deterioration Doubling on the date, and maybe an Interior Die Break.
