I found this coin roll hunting and my heart dropped #129327; it looks very worth having it authenticated to me what you folks think? It's the same weight and thickness of 1919 of same condition. Thanks for looking #128064;

to the CFF, AJ! Unfortunately this is not a mint error - someone sanded the reverse off. Not worth having authenticated in my opinion, but a real expert may have a different opinion.

Don't waste your money trying to get this authenticated. As stated earlier, the reverse was removed after it was minted.

The difference in thickness is because the coin was planed off on the reverse and is not a mint error.

Action Jaxson,
to CCF.
Looks like PMD to me and not worth sending it in. As to weight. Seems odd because if the reverse was removed it should weigh less, right? Might have started out as a heavy planchet? Normal weight is 3.1 grams +/- .13 grams mint tolerance.

All damage. Reverse has been ground down with am abrasive, and the obverse has a big gash. None of it is a minting error.

This is full on intentional damage to the reverse - completely sanded off and just circulation damage on the obverse.

To CCF! I agree, not a mint error. Just sanded off on the reverse, heavily scratched and circulated. Not worth the time or money getting it graded at all.
