I find myself looking at a lot of Braided Hair cents recently. This looks like an EF45 to me. Bit of a weak strike on the reverse from 8-12, but I like the obverse. I've seen a lot of weak strikes on obverse on the L and I of LIBERTY, Looks like a good strike. Interested in opinions and grading comments. Seller's pics.   Edited by Blastenpene4 09/01/2023 9:03 pm

Nice looking coin - grade seems appropriate. The dark areas, such as RTY, her ear, and among the laurels are a bit distracting.

I think this gets to AU50 TPGVery worn dies, but an attractive coin. Couple of dark areas as Hondo noted but nothing outrageous.

i think the reverse is in the AU50 range. obv XF45. I typically give the nod to the obv when its this close. i'd call it a nice XF45
