Right now I'm busy collecting innovation dollars and keeping the collection in a themed album. Album capsule. I thought about putting the coins in plastic capsules. So I hope to keep the shine of the coins and prevent blackening. Does it make sense? Where do you store coins made of this metal?

I use a similar album (it is very difficult to buy a Danco album in Russia). The album is made of cardboard, the coin windows are made of plastic, and there is a retractable sheet of plastic so you can put your coin in the cell. But I'm worried that the coins in this will start to darken.

That is an interesting album page - is that locally produced in Russia?
Is the cardboard exposed where the coins are inserted then covered by the big sheet of plastic?

Same. My golden dollars have remained nice over the past twenty years. They need to be kept in a stable environment, that is for sure. The ones I have pulled from circulation have not survived as well.

Yes. This album is produced in Russia. Coin cells on both sides are made of plastic. On one side, the plastic can be pulled out to put a new coin.
I tried to show it in the photo.
