Now I heard of a small d over big d error but I remember it being a 60's cent .. this is on a 1983 Lincoln Cent and honestly I thought I'd saw everything but what am I looking at here it looks like a small d glued over large d this is the way I found it... Any insight would be greatly appreciated photo included

Yes, I'm thinking spilt plating--along with emergent zinc rot..

I agree, split plating with zinc rot. Just a spender unfortunately.
