Hello all,
I recently came into ownership of jewelry from a family member who passed away. This family member was very well off and I'm honored to have the pieces. There are two pieces in question that I would love to have more information about. Seeing if anyone can help.
Thank you!

to the CFF, LargoBoater64!
First, it's best to list each coin in a separate thread in an appropriate topic.
Second, from your handle and description, your first one could be a Mel Fisher creation using a cob recovered from the Atocha.
Search through https://store.melfisher.com/ to see if there's anything similar.
Can't help you with your ancient - sorry!

Thank you for your input on the Mel fisher. I think you are correct on that one! And thanks for the tip on the ancient coin. I will try and find the correct forum. I'm new to the site and having a hard time finding it

Your "ancient coin" is, unfortunately, a replica. It is trying to imitate a silver coin of ancient Babylon under Greek rule, but the design details are just wrong.

Thank you for all the info everyone! It's a shame to find out when a piece is a fake!

Not a shame for me because I collect them: Fakes, Frauds, Forgeries, Fantasies and seemingly authentic.
It sometimes turns out that a fake I buy really is genuine.
To me, that's a shame.
