I have another set of coins...

Can anyone help me with this?

Again, this is from my grandfather. These are Philippine Marcos-Era 5-Peso commemorative coins. I have 7 silver coins, and 1 gold coin. As to whether they are really made from silver and gold, I do not know. I wish someone could help me.

If you like, I can e-mail you the higher resolution images. I am limited to 90kb per image posting here.

Thanks for all the help.

,
#1 5 Piso is not a gold coin, it is KM# 210.1 and made from nickel. If it's gold in color than it has been plated possibably to fool an unknowing collector. Worth A dollar or two.

#2 Is the same coin in it's orginal nickel color.

echizento,

thank you very much for the reply. I'm just trying to determine if they are worth something. if not, the sentimental value would do.

thanks once again. ;)
