Heck of a score for $2! Uncertain if the obverse scratch would give a "Details" grade, reverse appears more worn than obverse, my guess... VG-10. I'll wait for the real pros for assessment.

Nice cherry pick! probably a VG, I am sure it looks better in hand. The blown up photos make the mark look worse. Happy Birthday! If it is the 6th, we have the same Birthday.

RK55 HAPPY BIRTHDAY! and yes its not so scandalous looking in hand that scratch is old and worn I've had some come back from ANACS straight graded with scars on devices and fields clean. A coin toss on this one maybe anyways I have it up on ebay for $297.00 bin price...that way can BUY MORE COINS!

Interesting how the 1 all but disappears in the 4th photo. The 4/4 is still clear so I don't doubt authenticity. I'd splurge on ANACS certification before selling though.

I agree and if ebay wasn't 13.25% and another cut of shipping fee ( how'd they get away with that?) plus the 19 bucks to ship would sell it for even less. I appreciate these variety's very much and I use to go bonkers over them but my tastes have changed towards the classics. Hopefully the right person will see it who desires one for their set? This rascal is a pricey little dime, alot of details specimens available for 4 5 and 6 hundred wow! I've been asleep since 2018. Anyways I digress its pleasant accidentally buying one at junk prices especially one where you can see the numerals and not just hamster tails.

Well froggie you know your all probably right...dang ok will pull it down and ship it to Colorado Springs under the 5 working days deal that with shipping and attribution fee will be around 80 bucks plus the extra turn around time. I figure 20 days total and if it comes back straight grade VG great! heck a Fine details scratched is a possibility too. Yes this one deserves a slab. Will post results when coin arrives, ANACS is pretty fast this time of year.

On the way total came to $83.00 for 5 day turnaround, images and varieties service. Variety service is 14 working days but the last time I had one graded with variety service and I elected the 5 day service they speed it up to a sort of happy medium 11 days from door to door. ANACS may be #3 and bring less at auction but their just so easy even a caveman could do it I got good vibes dealing with ANACS. I'm calling the coin VG-10 details obverse scratch...will post pics on arrival.
