with Keith and

To ask about your certain coins:

Silver penny = 1943 steel cent, most of the time these are only worth less than a dollar for the vast majority of these. Notable exceptions are the 1943-D/D repunched mintmark, other more minor rpms, and gem uncirculated Steelies of all mints.

Mercury dime: (1916-1945), best dates are the famous 1916-D key date, also both 1921 dimes, and 1926-S rounds out the best ones. There are other nicer mercs around like the 1942 overdates, and the 1945-S micro-S... Not to mention the condition of the coin is good to know especially of the earlier dates in which some if these dimes can pick up some good value in average circulated condition...

Confederate penny: probably = an early Indian cent of the Civil War period of 1861-1865, or a Civil War token of the 1862-1864 range.

The 1969-D cent in the vast majority of the time is worth very little except in gem red uncirculated then after that can pick up some good value.

There are many other ins and outs about the coins you mentioned to us, but once you get used to uploading pictures we can better help you...
