I've been going through my pocket change more carefully in the past couple of months and a few days ago, I ran across this penny. Seems to be in good condition for the year and does have a rim error, no mint mark and the "B" in "Liberty" is blurred. I've done all the online research that I can online and nowhere have I found a similar penny with the letter blur. My question is: is that a significant error and would this penny be worth sending in to PCGS for grading purposes?

Please let me know your thoughts or opinions on this - thank you!

To CCF! You have a normal, Philadelphia minted 1968 Lincoln Cent with damage, on the B and E of Liberty, as well as a Master Hub issue. That's why the letters are so close to the rim. http://goccf.com/t/354731

Thank you so much for the welcome and for the thorough explanation with the link to further explain this coin's issues - I appreciate it! My gut said it wasn't the "diamond in the rough" that I was hoping for.

Thanks again!

Jackwagon,
to CCF.
Just to add, best to properly crop photos before posting them. Also,a bit too much glare and a bit out of focus. I know it is not easy taking pics of coins but the better the pics members post the better we can help them. What is your photo taking set up?
