1984 No Mint Mark Liberty Penny /W Error (Damage?) Around The Rim On Obverse And Reverse.

TavMS New Member United States 30 Posts	Posted 09/10/2023 10:09 am I am very new to coin collecting in general and came across this penny that caught my attention. I've been searching around trying to find something similar to compare to, but the only things I've found seem to be questionable postings on ebay/etsy that refer to it as a strike through error, but I'm not sure if that's the case. It seems to go under the other features of the coin (especially noticeable on reverse "O" in One Cent). I had also originally thought maybe roll crimp damage, but that doesn't seem to affect both sides of the coin. Again, I am very new to all of this, so I apologize if this is something extremely common, but I can't seem to find something that I can clearly identify as the same thing in my research.
