Question About 1982 Copper, Large Date, No Mint Mark Penny

Do these pennies typically have rims that look like the rim of a proof penny? I have one with no mint mark that is clearly copper (It sounds entirely different to other pennies when (very carefully) dropped), and the rim seems to be squared off like a proof. Is that the norm for these?
