I've been slowly collecting Canadian type coins over the years and have been thinking about putting them in an album. Has anyone had any luck with finding some that are reasonably priced? ebay is really high!!

Which coins are you including in your type set?
Exactly which album do you want?
Some have many more holes to fill than others.
Bide your time on ebay.
If you are patient one will come up at a reasonable price.

20 slot pages and saflips instead of 2x2s.
Saflips are re--useable, provide access to the coin, will hold crown sized, and there's tons of room to make notes.
Everything in one binder, customizable to no end.

Saflips that are pliable and easy to use usually PVC plastic, avoid them like the plague, PVC free saflips are fairly rigid and difficult to use, the 20 slot pages for the most part also contain PVC, that's one reason why we put coins in 2X2's before we put them in the pages, it helps to isolate them from the PVC.
Always check the storage products you buy.

Right now I have them in 2x2s in a binder. I really like those older Whitman Type sets for large and small types.

I realize that this is a couple month older thread, but I wanted to speak up.

I really like these Lighthouse 'Visa' series albums.

I converted from 2x2's in binders to these.
The only real issue I have is there are spots for uber-rare varieties, but no spaces for more common varieties.
I have had to get creative - especially with the later penny varieties.

I have found over time both BU copper and silver coins will tone near the top where the opening is. Many of my red BU coins are now Red-Brown. I have started converting all of mine back into 2x2 stapled holders as they have proven to be more air tight.
