... ... I usually blame my dog when that occurs ....
...Seriously, guys ... thanks for that info ... what you say makes sense, as the struck features seem to obliterate that part of the defect ... was the bubble created before the planchet being struck?...

Yes, it would occur when the planchet was plated.
