I'm new to coin hunting and got this 1999 P New Jersey State Quarter at work tonight. Once I got it home and under the scope I was puzzled at what I was seeing. I'm new to this so my eyes aren't yet trained on what to look for. But is this a DDO or MD, or something else?

I see no DDO,but you are showing close ups of the reverse which would make it a DDR. Did you check VV and Wexlers' sites? Looks like MD and or DDD to me though.

The close up pictures are relatively focused, but there is a lot of glare obscuring the details. Maybe try taking a picture of the JER/787 box with just indirect natural light.

Looks like Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling. Not a Doubled Die.
