The 2005 Silver Dollar program included a Coin and Stamp Set. See more about it here: 2005 Marine Corps Anniversary Coin & Stamp SetI wonder if the 2025 edition will include any special packaging sets? A Young Collector Set with the Half Dollar perhaps?

Quote: " A Young Collector Set with the Half Dollar perhaps? " I like how you think Commems....... The Silver dollar was and Will Always be My go to Piece. However This Commemorative Design on the Dollars of the 250TH Anniversary of The United Stated Marines being formed, Is Too similar to the 230Th Anniversary , So in viewing the " options " IMO The Half's design is a Fresher/Differing More reflective design, of Our Military Warriors in action.

Quote: I wonder if the 2025 edition will include any special packaging sets? I am not holding my breath, but you know I would jump on any silver dollar and medal set being offered. I mean, that U.S. Marine Corps One-Ounce Silver Medal is right there for win! It has to be a set, though. Buying them singly is not as fun.

The Mint still shows an expected ship date of 2/11. Pre-order discount pricing expired yesterday. If past is prelude, the CC charge will happen Friday or Saturday.

UPS dropped off my gold Marine Corps commemoratives about an hour ago (10 a.m. PST) in SoCal, so I have to say I'm pretty happy with the speed of shipping. The design of the coin (in my opinion of course) is ho hum, but the subject matter is important.

Called the Mint. Was told they are beginning to ship these in the order in which the orders were received. . .she told me there were approximately 300 orders ahead of mine ( I placed it on the 2nd at approximately 9:02 PT ). . .shouldn't be too long, I guess. This is akin to waiting for an NGC submission as far as trying my patience. . I know: first world problems.

Please use them in the future. *** Well, that's interesting. I procrastinated and waited until Feb. 1st to order proof and unconditional gold examples I paid for expedited shipping since I figured since I'm already paying $1,800, what's another $25. Got my two coins via UPS on the 12th.

Not only was it "unconditional," but it was also uncirculated.

I really wish the Mint would asked the designer in placing the text in a better position around the circumference on the gold coin, it seems like they decide to place it without any thoughts to how it impact the look of the design and art.
