In case you missed it ( Coin World article here), the first commemorative coin for 2025 was signed into law by President Biden on July 26th ( PL 118-10). The 250th Anniversary of US Marine Corps will be commemorated. I'm hoping it will nicely compliment the 2005 230th Anniversary coin. Of course any design considerations are still in the future, but personally, I'd like to see something from the Marine Corps Hymn included on the coins.

I Was intending to compliment the 2005 (230TH Anniversary ) U S Marines Commemorative. With the 2025, 250TH Anniversary of the U S Marines Commemorative. Till I saw the Exact Same Designs were Re-Used from the 2005 to produce the 250TH Anniversary . We gift these and Other U S Military Commemoratives to Those in Our life that Made/Make a Difference , Now I have to Re-Consider .......

I planned on getting the dollar, but I had to make some other things a priority this month.

The reverse of the 2025 dollar is quite a bit different from the 2005 reverse. Quote: Any takers ? I ordered an UNC half & UNC dollar for my commems collection.

I have pre-ordered a proof silver dollar and proof half-dollar, and that is all. The uncirculated coins come from the same mints, so an easy skip. Commemorative shopping is done for 2025.

Cujohn, Thank You for Your service. Capt, The Designs are Not exact, Too Similar. The Half design is a More thoughtful approach, No? The Commemorative Program as unique as it is, Should reflect the same Unique-sens, In Every design. Not a Very similar detailed design as an Anniversary 25 years prior. With all due respect, The Commemorative program seems to be Lacking in the Well thought out Classic fine details, Of days gone bye.......

@Morgans Dad: I think you're spot on re: the half dollar design being the better of the two.
