Any one else feel the American Silver Eagles Series Has turned our Miss Liberty into the Lady of the Evening....
Just my opinion, I have been collecting this series since the 1986 introduction. The series has had its ups and downs, I truly wish the U S Mint's Would find Another host, Leave Miss Liberty out of the Corporate Greed, That has Apparently changed their direction. Privy marks, Laser engraved, Dual-Dates, For those whom find this joyful, I wish You all the Best, Collecting has Certainly changed, Some old school collectors, Have Not...
Just my opinion....I think the Mint should just start making Silver Rounds and put all the gimicky stuff (glow in the Dark, holograms, 3d privy marks etc.) on them and leave the ASE in the classic design. They already have their foot in the door with collaborations with DC Comics & 8th Era.
only 3 so far? Well, then I'll be getting all 3 then, but I wonder if the Philly mint will produce a non congrats ASE as I do not but the congratulations coin set. But if it is the only way, then I'll be 'forced' to buy one. just like the mint did back in 2017

Silver medals, not rounds, and that is a good idea.

If the mint decides to replace the San Francisco proof ASE with a Philly proof with a privy mark and dual date, that would make the Congrats Set privy worthwhile, especially with a low product limit / mintage.
I'm assuming the West Point Uncirculated ASE will continue. . .the ecommerce site shows a subscription available for next year, the artwork hasn't been updated.

Quote: So that's three ASE's for next year we know of:
1. Bullion ( No news I've seen re: Dual Date or not ) 2. Single Date 2026 - P Proof in the Congrats Set - No privy mark 3. Dual Date 1776 - 2026 - W Proof with 250 privy mark
Update:
1. Bullion - Single Date, No PM ( Seeing Pre-Orders at the Bullion Sellers' Sites ) 2. Single Date 2026 - P Proof in the Congrats Set - No privy mark ( Jan 20, 2026) 3. Dual Date 1776 - 2026 - W Proof with 250 privy mark ( Jan 20, 2026 )

Been meaning to get back to this. That's true, but the bright side is the Congrats set OGP changed, so it won't be a storage challenge, can either be stored with the other proof clamshells, it added to an album very easily. The old folders are a pain, and not in a normal capsule. The other option, the old Limited Edition set, was better in that the ASE was encapsulated starting in 2017, but then you had the extra silver.
The TV shysters at CSNmint are peddling ANACS MS70 "First Strike Labels # / 50,000" bullion pre-sales for $100 and are displaying "our best representation of what we think the coins will look like. . ." and they are also hedging things by saying "we believe it will be dual dated" as they show mock-ups with dual dates. . ."we are speculating it will be dual dated. . ."
