Hi all, Found this in a penny role and was wondering if it is real. I've been researching the topic of the rainbow effect on coins and am unsure of the identification of real or fake. I am going to rely on your expertise on this matter.
I've also attached a pic of a fluke that happened when I dropped a coin that bounced and landed on another coin standing on it's edge. Bought a lottery ticket
as a result, wish me luck

Thanks Chase007,
I'm aware that they are common but before I add it to my collection I just want another opinion as to whether it's worth keeping.

Copper can take on almost any color of the rainbow in different environmental conditions.

For me this would be a spender, but since the cost of ownership is low, you should absolutely keep it if you want. Some folks (but not me) really gravitate toward toned coins.

Toning from environmental conditions. It's only worth face value, but if you want to keep it, go ahead.
