@Chase007
Why is it that the Machine Doubling starts at the bottom and gets thicker on the way up and it's not removing any of the original lettering? And at the bottom it blends in with the lettering not showing it being gouged out.?

@fre, MD typically shows up as shelf-like doubling that serves to reduce the width of the design elements. It looks to me like that is what you have here. However, it doesn't always follow any one specific line associated with a letter and that is why it seems to have unevenly affected the left part of that letter A.

Here is a link to the varietyvista page showing that there are no known DDRs for this date/mint--you could look at one of the others to get a better handle on what to be looking for:

The three somewhat random pictures of coins are from wexler's doubled die.
The second t and e both have this questionable doubling also The D of United and the complete word state have this questionable doubling

@John1
Yes I have read the literature on variety Vista wexler's coin help you and Mike Diamonds write up on the topic. What I don't understand is how it has a pivot point and at the bottom of the first t and A they are together at the same height before slowly splitting apart and there is no what I like to call ice cream scoop effect. And the second tea which also displays the questionable doubling seems to be thicker than the first t and the e also displays the questionable doubling Which is similar to this doubling that I pulled from wexler's website I am not saying that wexler's image is what my coin is I'm just saying it displays similar characteristics to the 1970 s 25¢ pr wddr-001
