@cuz, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @hondo that your cent has been mechanically damaged, such as from being a dryer cent but also has a plating bubble next to the mintmark. Likely you can flatten this vaguely T-shaped bubble with the tip of a wooden toothpick.
