I have this coin is it mintmark or doubled mintmark  . and isn't a flared G . please I need help..thanks

Looks like a popped zinc bubble on the mint mark. If you're talking about the G in FG, it is the correct one for 1988. The 1989 had the "flare" G. I'm not the expert here and I'm sure someone with more knowledge will respond shortly.

Hmm I think that there is a bit of zinc showing next to the mintmark (split plate doubling). It isn't a RPM.

Well Crater, this is a good example of zinc rot, where the thin copper plating is wearing off exposing the zinc core. This zinc rot can get worse over time as the zinc is more reactive than the copper.

As to a flared G, might be more of the same issue, others might have more insight on that phenomenon...

Agreed, a zinc bubble aka zinc rot. PMD on the mint mark. You also have the normal reverse for '88. https://www.lincolncentresource.com...988RDV6.html
