Hi again and thanks to everyone who helped on my previous posts. I am really learning alot here. I have found a few dimes that I need help with. The 86 and 94 dimes seem to have 2 rims part of the way around. (The 86 is on both sides, but the 94 is only on the obverse) What is this called? Also on the 86 the 9 in the date looks odd. Is this anything? The 2000 looks slightly off center on the the obverse. Is it off enough to save?

2000 dime - nothing special, many are like this. I bet I see at least 1/3 dimes that are like that.

that is what they called a MAD coin. (Miss-Aligned-Dies) This happens when the obverse die is not in proper alignment with the obverse die. On all three examples you will note that the reverse is centered and the obverses are slightly off set. Not extra value for them as they are common except when the devices run off the edges. Like one a fellow member found a few weeks ago.

The only ones that are worth keeping are the ones with some elements taking out and your dime has all it's elements.

Are you talking about what the coin is made of or did you mean the devices?
Technically, any raised or incuse design element is a device.
