it looks like it was a neckless at some point. But pictures are better than videos in my opinion. Also you should not be handling your coins like that, - by the edges only.

Unless it was an error coin without the attached metal which I agree is the likely cause rather than the coin itself as normally there would not be a 1974 silver except in those minted for collectors with s mint (uncirculated and proof).
