Looks like 3743. I'd say f to vf. Token's coin year book puts it at £25 to £45. Have fun.

Variety is the 1787 Shilling without Semee of Hearts, S3743. All relevant stops are present, so not one of the scarcer varieties.
On UK grading system I would say "Good Very Fine". There is wear on most of the high spots to hold it back, although it is a very handsome example. Mine, which is slightly better, just makes EF.
Having said that, many of the UK auction houses seem to be drifting more and more towards over-grading on the old standards, so I would not be surprised to see yours listed as EF.

Yes. I agree with PaddyB. I've found that a lot of dealers will tell you your coin is a lower grade than it really is, then sell an identical one telling everyone that it's a higher grade...
