This 1968 S cent is one of those possible DDR coins that has a very slight presence of doubling. I had a roll from several years ago and it had five like this. The dots are not elongated as in a normal DDR, but the other markers are there. I couldn't find it on Vista, but Wexler does attribute it to DDR-002. Thanks for you comments.

The dots that get elongated are seen ot the wheat back (pre 1959) cent coins. I have not (yet) seen DDR's on the Memorial cents that have the elongated dot.
However this is a nice DDR - easily seen on the roof line.

The elongated dots on LMC do exist.

Neat find!

Doubling looks right, but markers do not seem to match. Either a different die or a different die state.

Very odd doubling, no other one like it that I know of.
