I got a Wheatie like this and being someone with a chemistry background. In in my opinion acid didn't do this. Acid Burns are typically more eveb. I don't think the edges would be in such good shape compared to front-end back. I am not saying who is right or wrong. I could be wrong buy my opinion remains the same Notice the damagec front abd and reverse. Si I thinkthe edges should be as well. This looks too uniform to me. It very well could be AM damage but I would wager mine isn't acid.
